This "park" is a complete joke. There has been no money at all spent on it apparently. It's a former farm field with a narrow strip of woods and a crummy looking boat launch. It was proposed years ago to have a campground and picnic areas and such. As usual for Virginia parks, they won't allocate any money to actually make something worth visiting. Think I'm kidding? Take a look at the satellite view. Loudoun County SUCKS for support of public parks.
It was very disappointing to see the scores of No Parking signs which line the drive to the river. In my opinion this appears to be a tremendous waste of funds and takes away from the aesthetics of the surrounding environment.

Why not post just a few signs that say Park in Designated Areas Only - instead of dozens of awful looking unnatural signage? Was there an existing problem with parking that required these signs?
This is a cornfield with a place to launch a kayak. The one path was not mowed recently. A disappointment.
